The product photographs are indicative in nature. While we will do our best to match the picture, the size of the moss ball may vary in shape and size as it is handmade each time. Similarly, the plants may vary in its size and texture depending upon the available stock. Hence, the Kokedama will be similar to the picture, but not identical.

The Aralia White/Golden plant is an evergreen shrub with a stunning combination of green and golden leaves that make it perfect as an ornamental indoor plant. Its luxurious, bright green foliage brings life and a carefree aura, especially to small spaced rooms. Aralia golden has distinct spinach shaped leaves which are often bushy and attractive. Like their numerous lush leaves, they represent abundance and are excellent office desk or living room plants.

Aralias are native to Pacific islands and south-east Asia, especially India and Polynesia. They are often admired for their versatility and decorative features; they can make great tabletop or hanging plants. For a plant that is so beautiful, the aralia is very easy to care for and maintain. It is also a perfect gifting plant.

  • Other names: Aralia plant is commonly called Aralia Miniature White, Geranium Aralia, Spinach Leaf and Polyscias Guifoylei Variegated.
  • Planting environment: They are best grown indoors but can also be placed outdoors. A sudden change in location can result in the leaves dropping.
  • Sunlight: The plants are happiest in complete shade or filtered sunlight. Protect the leaves from the sun to avoid discolouration.
  • Watering/Soaking: Aralia plants will grow well when watered/soaked once a week. Reduce watering to once in two weeks in winter and fall. So, soak the moss ball 3/4th in a bowl of water for 5 minutes once a week or whenever you feel it is dry and light in weight.
  • Misting: Keep the plant’s soil consistently moist. Also, clean the leaves with damp cloth or paint brush frequently to prevent them from gathering dust and dirt.
  • Fertilisation: Feed the aralia plant with minimal liquid fertiliser once in two weeks. Reduce the feeding to once monthly in fall and winter.
  • Temperature: The plant prefers temperatures between 70 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Humidity: It thrives well in high humid areas. Exposure to low humidity may result in leaves dropping.
